Open the Muse app and tap the Train tab. Tap the Bluetooth icon in the top left corner. Turn on your Muse. Tap your Muse ID when it appears. Done! You should now be connected by Bluetooth*, and now’s a great time to wear your Muse. Setting up for my session For Muse biofeedback sessions, it’s strongly recommended you sit in a comfortable, upright position with your eyes slightly closed. Muse is a sensitive device and will pick up even the small electrical activity from muscles around the eyes, jaw, and the brainwaves from visual processing (what you see), and this can impact your session data.To learn more about calibration and how to set up for consistent results, view our Best Setup When Using Muse article. For Muse sleep sessions, lie down in whatever position is most comfortable for you. Starting my session Our article Comparing Muse Experiences provides information on the differences between Muse features and biofeedback experiences. For this example, let's try a Mind Biofeedback session: Open the Muse app and tap the Train tab. Scroll down to Biofeedback Soundscapes and tap Mind. Tap any of the soundscapes (such as Rainforest) to download the content. Select how long you'd like your session to last. (You can always extend your session after the timer completes.) Tap the Start Session button.
