It was designed to be worn comfortably with eyeglasses and many in the Muse community practice regularly with glasses on. So long as the Muse sensors have full contact with the skin behind your ears, you're good to go!For wearing eyeglasses with Muse, we recommend: Remove your glasses. Fit your Muse comfortably. Put your glasses back on. There can be trouble getting past the sensor quality check if your eyeglass frames are made of metal or include conductive metal parts. If you think this might be happening to you, try a different pair of glasses or remove your glasses once you start a session. The good news? All our Muse experiences are designed to be audio-guided! Once you start your session, you can remove your glasses, lightly close your eyes, and begin your meditation. Assembling Muse S (Gen 2) Muse S (Gen 2) includes two pieces, the pod and the fabric band. The pod has two hooks that fit into the fabric band to help secure them together. To assemble your Muse S (Gen 2) Align the Muse S pod hooks with the two inserts on the side of the fabric band. Push the hooks into the inserts until there’s no visible gap. Secure the pod’s other side to the fabric band using the magnets. Double check if there's any gap between the pod and the fabric band (it can take an extra push!). If there's a gap between the pod and the fabric band, the sensor connection won’t complete and you won’t be able to start a session. During the sensor quality check, a pod gap usually looks like a sensor issue with one of both of the ear sensors. You don't need to remove the pod from the band between uses. But if you're planning on cleaning your fabric band, don't forget to remove the pod first. Click here to find out more about caring for your Muse.
