Muse 2 and Original Muse devices do not contain magnets. CPAP machines CPAP machines come in many different shapes and sizes, so it's difficult for us to accurately judge how they would generally work with the Muse headband. The key is that the Muse headband sensors need contact with the skin of your forehead and between the ear and sides of the head (where glasses sit).If your CPAP machine doesn't cover your forehead or sit on the tops of your ears, then it should work. You may need to spend some extra time adjusting your Muse or CPAP machine so that Muse gets good sensor quality. To see how to wear Muse headbands, watch our fit video tutorials! Hearing aids and fitting Muse Hearing aids can be used with Muse, but keep in mind that the Muse sensors need to touch the skin on the back of your ears and your forehead.Hearing aids that are inserted into your ear should work well with Muse, while some hearing aids that sit behind or on top of your ear may prevent you from having proper contact with the sensors. Hearing aids which sit behind or top-of-the-ear can work with Muse, but they must be moved slightly to the side to allow Muse to have full contact behind the ear.Audio plays an important role with Muse, but you don't need to use headphones.
