Using your Muse with Programs You can use your Muse headband with most programs to receive post-session biofeedback data.A few of the individual program sessions require you to use Muse, like the session Your First Mind Meditation, found under Foundations of Muse Mind Meditation. From our Starter Series program onward, using your Muse is optional. Understanding your Program session data After your Program session with your Muse headband, you’ll receive session data to see how your brain, heart, or body responded. Program session graphs When completing programs with your Muse 2 or Muse S headband, you’ll see a Mind, Heart, Body, or Breath graph. If you have an Original Muse, you’ll see a Mind graph only. Each graph has the full data set, as you would if you had completed a Mind, Heart, Body, or Breath session. Mind - charts your brainwaves and, using Muse's advanced algorithm, displays your session in three areas: active, neutral, and calm. To learn more about the Mind session data, see our Muse Sessions article. Heart - charts your heart rate in beats per minute, along with the average, lowest, and highest heart rate in this session. To learn more about the Heart session data, read our Heart Sessions article. Body - charts your time, either active or still over the duration of your session. To learn more about the Body session data, view our Body Sessions article. *Breath - charts the time when you were in High, Medium, or Low harmony with the breathing guide. To learn more about the Breath session data, view our Breath Sessions article. *Breath sessions are designed for you to harmonize your breathing with a specialized auditory guide. As such, the Breath graph will only be available when you complete a Breath program session. Stats and other data Another way to track your progress over time is with your session stats, awards, and journals. Stats like Birds and Recoveries are displayed on the first graph of your program session or can be accessed in the Stats section of your session data page. You can gain Awards for key milestones. Earned a few birds for the first time? Maybe you’ll get the Birds of Eden Award! If you added notes after your session, you can review your feelings, patterns, and insights in the Journal section of the screen. PropertiesURL NameProgramsTitlePrograms
